These gorgeous photos are courtesy of the Saint Louis Art Museum, who we had the pleasure of creating 37 custom acrylic vitrines for as part of their exhibition called “Sunken Cities: Egypt’s Lost Worlds”. From gold coins and jewelry, to ancient religious artifacts, to huge sculptures, these displays tell the story of two lost cities of ancient Egypt which were found submerged under the Mediterranean Sea for over a thousand years. To allow visitors the best possible viewing of these treasures, the vitrines were fabricated with PS30, or museum “bubble free” seams – however, each case the museum requested had it’s own set of dimensions, acrylic thicknesses, and individual specifications depending on how – and what – it was displaying.
